Wells County Foundation board of directors
In 2021, I joined the local community foundation as a board member to help promote quality of life in Wells County and foster philanthropy efforts and projects. I currently serve as the board secretary.
United Way of Wells County
In the spring of 2022, I was asked to serve on the board for the United Way of Wells County. Its focus is early childhood education. I also serve on the Imagine Early board as part of the Adams-Wells Early Childhood Coalition Steering Committee.
Facilitator, alumni committee for the Wells County Leadership Academy
I participated in the Wells County Leadership Academy Level 1 in 2015-2016 and Level 2 in 2016-2017. Then in 2017-2018, a small group including myself completed an independent study course of Level 3. I love the program so much that I continue to be involved as a facilitator and on the alumni committee, which I’ve chaired. The committee helps plan three annual events for WCLA alumni. I’ve also served on the WCLA advisory board as president.
Social media and Web for the Wells County Historical Society
I served on the board of directors for the Wells County Historical Society from 2018-2022. I began the effort to get the organization more visible online through social media. I helped maintain the Society’s website.
Former volunteer softball photographer
From the summers of 2015 to 2020, I took photos of Wells County Girls Softball. Then I posted the photos on Facebook for the parents to enjoy. Check the league out on Facebook.
